  1. Measure the height: Using a measuring tape, measure the height of the wall from the floor to the ceiling. Make sure to measure at different points along the wall, as the height may vary slightly. Use the tallest measurement for your calculations.

  2. Measure the width: Measure the width of the wall from one corner to the other, ensuring that you take measurements at the top, middle, and bottom of the wall. This will account for any irregularities. Use the longest width measurement for your calculations.

  1. Clean the surface: Ensure the wall is clean, dry, and free of dust or debris. Wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth and allow it to dry completely before proceeding.

  2. Gather the necessary tools: You will need a vinyl wall sticker, a squeegee or credit card, a pair of scissors, a level, and masking tape.

  3. Prepare the sticker: Lay the vinyl wall sticker on a flat surface, design side down. Using the squeegee or credit card, firmly rub the transfer tape (the clear layer on top of the sticker) to ensure it sticks well to the vinyl design.

  4. Position the sticker: Hold the vinyl sticker up to the wall and use a level to ensure it’s straight. Mark the desired position with masking tape, taping the top edge of the sticker to the wall to create a hinge.

  5. Apply the sticker: Peel back the backing paper (the layer behind the design) from the top edge down, revealing the adhesive side of the vinyl sticker. As you peel, use the squeegee or credit card to gently press the sticker onto the wall, working from the top down and from the center outwards. This will help eliminate air bubbles.

  6. Smooth out any bubbles: If you notice any air bubbles, use the squeegee or credit card to gently push them out to the edges of the sticker. If necessary, you can also use a pin to puncture small bubbles and release the trapped air.

By following these steps, you’ll be able to successfully apply a vinyl wall sticker to your desired surface. Remember to take your time and work carefully to ensure a smooth, bubble-free finish.

  1. Prepare the surface: Ensure the wall is clean, dry, and free of dust or debris. Remove any nails, hooks, or outlet covers. Fill in any holes or cracks with filler, then sand the surface smooth. Wipe the wall with a slightly damp cloth and allow it to dry completely before proceeding.

  2. Gather the necessary tools: You will need self-adhesive wallpaper, a measuring tape, a level, a pencil, a utility knife, a straight edge or ruler, a squeegee or smoothing tool, and a step ladder if necessary.

  3. Measure and cut: Measure the height of the wall and add a few extra inches to allow for trimming. Unroll the wallpaper and cut it to the desired length. Repeat this process for each strip needed, ensuring that you account for pattern matching if applicable.

  4. Plan the layout: Start applying the wallpaper from a corner or the center of the wall, depending on your preference. Use a level and pencil to draw a vertical line where the first strip will be placed, ensuring it is straight and level. This line will serve as a guide for applying the wallpaper.

  5. Apply the first strip: Peel back a few inches of the backing paper from the top of the wallpaper strip to reveal the adhesive side. Position the strip along the vertical line you drew, allowing for a slight overlap at the top and bottom for trimming. Smooth the wallpaper onto the wall using a squeegee or smoothing tool, working from the top down and from the center outwards to eliminate air bubbles.

  6. Apply additional strips: For each subsequent strip, ensure that you leave a 15mm overlap on the edge. This will account for any irregularities in the wall and create a seamless appearance. Align the pattern if necessary and smooth the strip onto the wall as described in step 5.

  7. Trim excess wallpaper: Once all the strips are in place, use a straight edge or ruler and a utility knife to carefully trim away any excess wallpaper at the top and bottom of the wall. Make sure the blade is sharp to ensure clean, precise cuts.

  8. Smooth the seams: Use the squeegee or smoothing tool to gently press along the seams where the strips overlap, ensuring a smooth, even finish.

By following these steps, you’ll be able to successfully apply self-adhesive wallpaper to your desired surface. Remember to take your time and work carefully to ensure a smooth, bubble-free finish with properly aligned seams.

  1. Clean the surface: Ensure the door is clean, dry, and free of dust or debris. Wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth and allow it to dry completely before proceeding.

  2. Gather the necessary tools: You will need a door sticker, a measuring tape, a squeegee or credit card, a pair of scissors, a level, a utility knife, and masking tape.

  3. Measure and trim the sticker: Measure the height and width of the door, then trim the door sticker to the appropriate size, leaving a small margin (about 1-2 cm) for trimming after application.

  4. Position the sticker: Hold the door sticker up to the door, ensuring it is centered and level. Use masking tape to secure the top edge of the sticker to the door, creating a hinge. This will help you apply the sticker evenly and without wrinkles.

  5. Apply the sticker: Peel back the backing paper (the layer behind the design) from the top edge down, revealing the adhesive side of the door sticker. As you peel, use the squeegee or credit card to gently press the sticker onto the door, working from the top down and from the center outwards. This will help eliminate air bubbles.

  6. Remove the backing paper: Continue to peel the backing paper away as you apply the sticker, using the squeegee or credit card to smooth it onto the door. Ensure the sticker is fully adhered, with no air bubbles or wrinkles.

  7. Trim excess sticker: Use a utility knife and a straight edge or ruler to carefully trim away any excess sticker material along the edges of the door. Be cautious not to damage the door’s surface during this process.

  8. Smooth out any bubbles: If you notice any air bubbles, use the squeegee or credit card to gently push them out to the edges of the sticker. If necessary, you can also use a pin to puncture small bubbles and release the trapped air.
